Birth support that honors your choices.
There is no one right way to give birth, and no two birth journeys are the same. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, evidence-based information, and unwavering support, helping you understand your options, feel confident in your decisions, and know that your voice matters every step of the way.
Hi, I'm Crystal.
I’m a certified Birth Doula serving families throughout the Twin Tiers and surrounding areas of New York.
You can usually find me at home with my husband, who was my high school sweetheart, and our four boys. We live on our family farm in Savona, NY, where life is full of animals, fresh air, and the beautiful chaos of raising boys. My husband and I homeschool our children together, while working to build a future on our farm.
My own journey through motherhood has shaped so much of who I am and has deepened my passion for supporting women and families through one of the most transformative experiences of their lives.
As a birth doula, I’m passionate about helping families feel informed, supported, and confident as they navigate their birth experiences. I have a special interest in VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) and breech birth, and I’ve pursued additional training in both areas to better support families navigating these unique birth experiences. I believe women deserve to be heard, respected, and supported in making informed decisions about their bodies and their babies.
My passion for birth work continues to grow, and I’m currently beginning my journey toward midwifery school. My heart is to be part of changing the birth world for the better, helping create a culture where women and families feel empowered, respected, and genuinely cared for throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
It’s an honor to walk alongside families during such a meaningful season of life, and I’m so glad you’re here!

Testimonials
Rachel M.
"Crystal was an amazing support and advocate for myself and my partner she took me on last minute, was incredibly patient with me while I sorted through what I wanted for my delivery and was incredibly valuable before, during and after labor. I believe she was a huge part in me having the best labor experience."
Lauren D.
"I was so blessed to have met Crystal and hire her to be my doula for my VBAC. Which ended successfully! She helped me in so many ways and I am just SO grateful for her! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula in the area. She provided me with so much support mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. So glad I had her by my side on this journey this past pregnancy, labor, and delivery."
Kassandra H.
"I hired Crystal around 37 or 38 weeks pregnant. She’s like a ray of sunshine. She’s so supportive and knowledgeable in birth. She prayed with me from start to finish and really made my birth experience so calm and beautiful. She really lifted me up and encouraged me through my journey of welcoming my 6th baby into the world.
She stayed with me for two days in the hospital as my labor stalled after my water broke. Over 55 hours of labor I had a successful VBA4C Breech Birth at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester Ny. I couldn’t have done it without Crystal Moran praying with me, loving on me, and guiding me and my husband both through contractions, uncertainty, and tears. She’s literally the best."
